Bayahíbe is a former fishing village on the south-east coast, the gateway to Saona and Catalina islands and to Cotubanamá National Park. Blue Flag Dominicus beach hosts the hotels, and the village keeps a quiet atmosphere with seafront restaurants and some of the best dive sites in the country.
