What taxes do I pay when buying?
The main one is the 3% real estate transfer tax, paid by the buyer and calculated by the DGII on the sale price or the tax appraisal, whichever is higher. There are also smaller registration fees and stamps. Projects with CONFOTUR may be exempt from the 3% on the first purchase.
