Do CONFOTUR benefits last forever?
No. The exemption lasts up to 15 years, which the law counts from the completion of the project's construction, with conditions set in the law and the resolution. When it expires, the property pays IPI like any other if it exceeds the exempt amount. Check how long remains before buying, especially in resales, where benefits may not transfer.
