What are the risks of buying off-plan?
The main ones are late delivery, changes in design or finishes, the developer's financial problems and the market not rising as projected. You reduce them by buying from developers with a proven delivery record, with a trust or escrow account, complete permits and a contract with clear penalties for delays.
