Is the reservation deposit refundable?
It depends on the reservation form. Some are refundable if due diligence uncovers a problem or if the contract is never signed; others are not refunded. Never pay a reservation without a signed document that makes this clear, and always pay into the company's or the trust's account, never a personal account.
