How long does a purchase take?

A resale with documents in order usually closes in 30 to 60 days, and issuing the new title at the Registry can take a few more weeks. In a pre-construction project the signing is quick, but delivery depends on construction, typically 12 to 36 months. Buying with a mortgage adds the bank's approval time.
